1) Fraud and deceit entered into the practice of spiritualism. Charlatans who took pleasure in entrancing people with their own personalities for love of money and self-glory perverted the original design of this potential avenue for truth. Contacts debased themselves through association with lower psychic or astral realm, paying heed to those discarnate entities whom they would never have deigned worthy of their attention while in embodiment. Thus another door was closed which we might have used to bring humanity nearer to the Godhead.

2) Now then, of what value is all this great culture, this manifestation of the wonders of science to the world, when the world has gone mad? For the world today has literally gone mad. In the midst of all that it has of blessedness it seeks to destroy that blessedness and to lavish it upon the personal self and upon the ego until the hearts of men are literally quaking and failing for fear. And that which you call heart failure is being multiplied among mankind who cannot stand the exhaustive pace.
Understand then that there can be and there is no heart failure where the power of Almighty God, as the generative and regenerative flame of life, is stabilizing every activity within the domain of the individual person.
3) Those privileged individuals who are truly able to penetrate the realm of akasha and to see accurately the recordings made there (men and women such as Madame Helena P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, Edgar Cayce and others) must in many cases be accepted on faith by the multitudes; for they themselves do not have the power of discernment, although they would often like to think they do. The very fact that this is so does make it possible for the charlatan, pretender and self-deceived to say with considerable ease “We are also able to read akashic records.” In reality many of these so-called readings are but subconscious meanderings of the lower mental body, involving all of the unfortunate anomalies of the individual ego recorded in his own etheric body.

4) Many deny the possibilities of extrasensory perception and power of mind over matter exhibited by the great fire-walkers whose bare feet remain unburned after coming in contact with red-hot coals. Many suspect charlatanism in all the various phenomena associated with the Spirit. Let us make clear that there are pretenders here, as in every field, but there are also those who are adept in spiritual arts whose hearts are wholly dedicated to the unburdening of humanity.

5) Those who have tended the altars of the hearts of humanity. Those who have kept the flame of life on behalf of their sisters and brothers on the path. These have the right to minister unto the flock, to break bread and offer the communion cup. Not the charlatans, not wolves in sheep’s clothing who have studied and taken their courses in schools of philosophy and theology, who come to pursue the profession as a trade, as a means of livelihood instead of as the calling of the Holy Spirit.

6) I say woe to those who are adept in the mental manipulations of matter and astral energies yet have not the Christ–the snake charmers and charlatans who display a phenomenal control of bodily functions yet have not one iota of soul mastery! As if they had a thing to offer mankind which mankind cannot get directly from their own Christ Self, their own I AM Presence and the living flame which God has anchored within the heart!

7) In this sacred body I now acclaim, O blessed hearts of living fire, the turning back of charlatans and impostors invading both the Republican and Democratic parties in these United States and many parties of politicians and power-seekers worldwide. We come with the sword, we come with a flame. But above all we come in the temple of our sons and daughters, in the hearts of our children. 8) Even so, beloved Saint Germain has cleared the way and laid the foundation of this mighty freedom whereby yet in this hour in this nation people may gather together in great numbers and speak the praise unto the Lord. But when the Lord grants unto them freedom from their taskmasters, do they go and fast and pray and enter into service? Do they understand the true meaning of sacrifice, of self-emptying and the purging light and cleansing that must precede the fulfillment of the divine plan and the promised land?
Blessed hearts, when they have freedom on the day of the Sabbath they make merry in their indulgences and they pass the hour in the marts of the world, engaged whether in commerce or exchange of goods or contemplation of turning-over their own money unto a greater and greater accumulation of wealth, else they indulge themselves in all manner of surfeiting of senses and worshiping not the golden calf but the shimmying of their own bodies and lusting after the anti-God in the worship of male and female principles as they pursue their sex cults and orgies as surely as they did in Egypt.
Beloved hearts of light, wherefore shall we deliver this people when they themselves are taken up with the cult of death--of the Egyptian consciousness come again? Blessed hearts of light, who will hearken unto the Word of the Lord? Who will hearken unto God incarnate in the Messenger as I was that God?

9) Ants are extraordinary people! The wise always heed them. At first you may have a sense of injustice about this person who is offering you free advice. ”Who does she think she is telling me how I ought to live my life!”--but by and by you come away the richer in wisdom, though you may never tell her so. After all the wise one said “With all thy getting get understanding,” and get it wherever and whenever you can and through any messenger life may send you. And if you really listen to what the proud and the lowly, the charlatan or the angel are really saying, you will get the message. And this is one of the sweetest mysteries of life on earth--that God the great Guru is teaching us hour by hour.

11) To know what is what and who is who and what you are dealing with is absolutely essential in these times. For charlatans come. They present their wares. And as it has been said, you have not distinguished between that which is spiritual and that which is psychic. You can be lost in the psychic so quickly, almost as if you had stepped into quicksand or into mud that remains at low tide and were being pulled under.

11) I speak to you also of those on the spiritual path who are not on the right path yet they are stuck on a certain track, and how easily and quickly by the Holy Spirit you can deliver these to the right track. For they are ready and they are open. And they are being led astray by those of great egos and fanfare and pretenders and false gurus and charlatans who come out of India to the United States. Yes, we know of whom we speak. We know very well of whom we speak--those who are leading children of the nation in wrong paths. And you also know of whom we speak.
12) Since the hour of your birth you have never lacked talents and graces you would require to achieve wholeness. But for want of exercising these talents and graces you have become rusty. Yes, you have become rusty! And that is why you have not seen through the charlatans in your midst.
